Parrot Signs Graphics Enjoys A Successful Great Yorkshire Show 2026

From 14th to 17th July, the Parrot Signs & Graphics team headed to Harrogate for the 167th Great Yorkshire Show, one of the UK's biggest celebrations of agriculture and rural business. With around 140,000 visitors expected across four days, more than 8,500 animals, hundreds of trade exhibitors and a history stretching back to 1838, it is one of the highlights of the agricultural calendar and a fantastic opportunity to meet businesses from across the UK.

This year's event proved to be another excellent showcase for agriculture and we were delighted to be part of it.

Four busy days meeting customers old and new

Throughout the show we welcomed a steady stream of visitors to our stand, speaking to people from a wide range of industries. While agriculture was naturally the main focus, we also had conversations with contractors, construction professionals, facilities and estate managers, retailers and businesses looking to improve safety and compliance across their sites.

As manufacturers of high-quality safety signs, it was great to hear first-hand about the challenges businesses face and discuss practical signage solutions that help keep workplaces safe, organised and compliant.

Events like the Great Yorkshire Show provide something that simply can't be replicated online. They allow us to demonstrate the quality of our products, answer questions face-to-face and understand exactly what our customers need.

Showcasing our complete signage range

We brought a broad selection of products to Harrogate, giving visitors the opportunity to see the quality and variety of our signage up close.

Our display included:

Alongside our display products, we also brought a selection of factory seconds, giving visitors the chance to pick up some genuine bargains. These proved popular throughout the week, with some finding new homes before the show came to a close.

Building relationships across multiple industries

One of the biggest successes of the week was the number of conversations we had with businesses outside our existing customer base.

We met people working across agriculture and construction, while also speaking with several potential new resellers and merchants interested in offering Parrot Signs & Graphics products to their own customers. Developing these relationships is an important part of our growth, and trade shows provide the perfect environment to discuss opportunities in person.

Whether visitors were looking for standard safety signs, bespoke signage or trade supply options, it was encouraging to see so much interest in what we offer.

Great neighbours and a great atmosphere

One of the best parts of exhibiting is getting to know the businesses around you, and we couldn't have asked for better neighbours throughout the four days.

A big thank you goes to Strimech, C G Robinson, Coars with DeLaval, and Banner Equipment with SANY, who helped create a fantastic atmosphere on our section of the showground. It was a pleasure spending the week alongside such friendly and professional businesses, and we wish them every success for the future.

Thank you for visiting us

We'd like to thank everyone who stopped by our stand, whether you were an existing customer catching up with the team or someone discovering Parrot Signs & Graphics for the first time. It was brilliant to meet so many people, answer your questions and hear about the projects you're working on.

The Great Yorkshire Show continues to demonstrate why it is regarded as one of the UK's premier agricultural events, bringing together businesses from across farming, construction and the wider rural economy.

While we don't have any firm exhibition plans to announce just yet, we're already exploring opportunities to attend more trade shows later this year and into 2027. Following such a positive experience in Harrogate, we're looking forward to getting back out on the road, meeting more customers and showcasing our growing range of safety signs.
